SAGE’s commitment to our participants, customers, and staff as we navigate through COVID-19 together!
Social Accountability Guidance & Education
For our Participants and Customers:
While our doors might be closed, our services are open. Our outpatient treatment centers have been well equipped and prepared to move quickly to an online platform. We have been utilizing Tele-Health services via WebEx to conduct all of our outpatient therapy since March 23rd, 2020. This includes assessment, case management, individual counseling and group counseling services. Treatment participants may connect via smart phone, computer, or utilize a call-in option.
Our in-home services with families referred by the Dept. of Child Services have been able to continue through this pandemic. Our in-home team members wear face masks, gloves, and use sanitizing solutions as needed. We provide Tele-Health visits when appropriate, and practice social distancing during our in home visits. Families are pre-screened to determine if COVID-19 symptoms exist and whether there has been any contact with confirmed or suspected Coronavirus cases. The families we serve are strongly encouraged to utilize face coverings as well.
Referral & enrollment in treatment services
Now, more than ever we understand the need for access to behavioral health treatment services. We will continue to accept referrals through this pandemic. Please visit our referral page https://sagecounseling.net/sage-referral-page/ or contact SAGE counseling at 480-649-3352 for more information.
If you are in need of behavioral health treatment services, you don’t need to wait to be referred. Please contact SAGE counseling anytime at https://sagecounseling.net/contact/ or by phone 480-649-3352 to get enrolled.
For our Staff
On April 10th, 2020 SAGE implemented an immediate work from home policy titled “Temporary Telecommuting Arrangements”. While many staff members were already working from home, this policy formalized the ability for SAGE employees to conduct their job remotely, unless needing to provide in-home services.
Staff members needing to conduct in-home services or come into SAGE’s main office are provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) which include face masks, gloves, and sanitizing solutions.
Anticipated Office Reopening’s
SAGE will continue to follow CDC guidelines in terms of how we reopen our offices. As of June 16th, 2020 Arizona has reported a record high in the number of single day cases and the number of hospitalizations from COVID-19. According to the CDC COVID Data Tracker, Arizona is the 4th leading State for the total number of cases in the last 7 days (https://www.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#cases). Given the current condition of our state, SAGE is taking a conservative approach returning to in-person services in our clinics.
SAGE currently has an internal committee working on guidelines for returning services to our offices. Recommendations include providing PPE, rotating group start times, placing barriers between work areas, spacing out group participants to allow for social distancing, creating space within our offices for staff and recipients of our services, making hand sanitizer readily available, and sanitizing offices between participants.
The safety of our staff and treatment participants is our top priority. We will continue to provide updates on our website as they become available.
