At the initial contact, clients are scheduled for a two-hour block of time, where a master’s level clinician will complete a thorough assessment and Individualized Treatment Plan for a virtual or in person appointment.
The program consists primarily of counseling groups and may include individual counseling. Case management assistance is available, when needed.
To best meet clients’ treatment needs, SAGE has multiple, gender-specific Treatment Tracks with specialized curricula for men and women.
AHCCCS
SAGE Counseling is contracted with all of the AHCCCS Health Plans and accepts the American Indian Health Program. The Health Plans include: Banner, United Health Care, Care 1st, Arizona Complete Health, Mercy Care ACC, HealthChoice.
At your first contact with SAGE, a brief financial screening will be completed. If your income and household size appear to meet AHCCCS eligibility guidelines, a SAGE staff person will assist you with your application.
